New Prey trailer introduces female protagonist

The Prey protagonist can either be male or female.
Bethesda has released a new trailer for Prey that, for the first time, reveals that the game's protagonist can be female.
Carrying the same name of Morgan Yu, the female protagonist faces the same struggles of her male counterpart. The trailer is actually the same one shown at gamescom in August, only now it's from the perspective of the female Morgan Yu.
Bethesda says you'll be able to make the choice, but it won't change the story or how the characters interact with the world. "Morgan Yu is Morgan Yu, he or she will be defined by the choices you make," the publisher said.
Prey is in development at Arkane Austin, and is due out for release in 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
