New Ni no Kuni PS3 footage shown on Japanese talk show
This week on Top Runner, a weekly NHK talk show in Japan, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino was a guest and he brought along with him some new Ni no Kuni PS3 footage.
According to the video, posted below and transcribed by Andriasang, Hino wants to "let players experience the feeling of being in a Studio Ghibli movie," and he also described how the game allows players to switch into first person view in order to to look around the game's environments.
Hino also said the development team is considering an option in the game which would allow players to change the camera angles freely during the cutscenes.
As far as the console version being a PS3 exclusive was concerned, Hino said it was because the game was mind on the same level as a movie, and being on PS3 would make it resemble one more.
In early December, it was announced that initial orders for Ni no Kuni on DS had hit 600,000 - the highest ever for a Level-5 game.
Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madoshi - Second Land: The Jet-Black Mage - was released on DS in Japan back in December.
The PS3 version of the game shown here, Ni no Kuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joo - Second Land: The Queen of White Sacred Ash - is expected slated for release this year.
