New Mortal Kombat X character to be revealed at The Game Awards
The second season of Mortal Kombat X DLC will become less mysterious on Thursday.
The Game Awards 2015 show will host many game reveals, outside of the actual awards themselves. So far, we know we're going to see the first gameplay footage from Far Cry Primal, a special announcement from Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey, gameplay from Xbox One exclusives such as Quantum Break, and others.
Now, Mortal Kombat X can be added to this list. Series creator Ed Boon took to Twitter to reveal that he's going to be in attendance. That's because NetherRealm will reveal some details about the upcoming batch of characters.
"Who's Next?" is the phrase Boon usually used before revealing new characters. We know for sure 2016 will bring at least four of them, as well as a new location.
The Game Awards ceremony starts at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT on Thursday, December 3.
