New Mega Man Universe screens reveal build-a-Mega-Man workshop, level editor

mmucustomization

Look, Ryu, don't take this the wrong way, but Mega Man wants your legs.

No! No! Not like that. Yeesh! That'd be just plain weird - not to mention awkward. See, he just wants to saw them off you and glue them to himself, is all.

Capcom's detailed Mega Man Universe's character customization system, which allows you to craft a self-made Mega Man by cherry picking parts from the blue bomber's - and Capcom in general's - storied past. Depending on what sort of parts you choose for your Frankenstein monster of a Capcom history lesson, you'll be able to wield different abilities. So yeah, Ryu plus Mega Man? Totally possible.

As if stamping your total lack of design sense onto a tiny robot wasn't enough, the game also features a full level editor, complete with online sharing for those of you who think the world needs to see your perfect - and totally original - replica of stage 1-1 from Mario.

So basically, it's Capcom's take on LittleBigPlanet. Yeah, graphically, it's not the prettiest girl at the prom, but we can still definitely get behind this. Plus, this totally validates our grade school hobby of drawing videogame levels and horrendously impractical cartoon robots instead of paying attention during class. See, Mom and Dad? Our youthful game obsession totally paid off... er, by improving our abilities at one select game.
