New Halo 5 map includes a tribute recognising a fan's tragic loss

Halo developer 343 Industries included a sweet gesture in the newest map.

The latest Halo 5: Guardians update adds a new map called Torque. As you're storming back and forth across it in pursuit of the flag or a gallant foe, cast an eye upwards at the night sky.

See that? The names Trinity and Lena emblazoned on the firmament, written in the very stars.

According to a recent Halo Waypoint update, Trinity and Lena died as a result of an electrical fire in their home. Their father Adam is better known to the Halo community as thecrzedspartan, which rallied around to support him and his wife Rebecca in the wake of their tragic loss.

As well as the beautiful sky above Torque, Trinity and Lena's initial appear on the first animated Halo 5 emblem, True Light, which is included in the free Spartans Never Walk Alone pack.

"These are but small gestures meant to honor Adam's daughters, ensuring that their memories are always close at hand within the universe he loves," 343 Industries wrote.
