New God of War III screens are just amazing

Andriasang's got a new set of hi-res God of War III shots, and they're not going to do anything for your nerves if March is already too far away.

The screens show Kratos taking on a helmeted boss, facing off against a giant centaur and gearing up for a fight against a large metal man with a hammer. There's some pretty serious "graphics" going on there.

The PS3 mega-game's been confirmed for a March 25 release in Japan. Americans look likely to get it on March 16, although this is unconfirmed.

There's been no hint at a solid date for the UK and Europe as yet, although SCEE has assured us an announcement's coming in "weeks".

For the rich among you, you'll be wanting to look at the Collector's Edition: a snip at £110. Although looking at the screens, it may just be worth the investment.
