New Gears 3 scans show locations, man-made island
Blowout. A Russian games magazine's running an eight-page feature on Gears of War 3, showing some stuff never before seen for the game.
One of the biggest points in the feature is a shot showing what looks like a man-made island, which is thought to be where the game mainly takes place.
It also features a real-time screenshot for the game, the first actually seen since its reveal last month, of Marcus and Dom on the island.
And with Enya now in the field, you'll be getting a new operator as well: the magazine shows off concept art of what appears to be a new someone to talk sweet mutterings to while stomping Locust heads.
There's also some new concept and render art of other things, comparison shots of locations from Gears 2 and 3 and what improvements have been made with the Unreal Engine, plus more.
Oh, and there's a mech in the game as well, which backs up a previous report from Edge.
