New Bayonetta "information" this week
Platinum said over-night that it's about to release new "information" on pseud-loved fighter Bayonetta, bringing hope of a sequel announcement.
Director Yusuke Hashimoto dropped the following:
"Good morning. It looks like we'll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta this week. Look forward to it," he tweeted earlier.
This, in our book, is very great f**king news: the game, which released back in January in the west after an October 2009 launch in Japan for PS3 and 360, was absolutely awesome.
Since then, creator Hideki Kamiya and Sega West boss Mike Hayes have said they'd like to see a sequel, with Kamiya saying it could be a spin-off.
At the last count, Bayonetta has sold 1.1 million units.
Thanks, Andriasang.
