New 3DS US shortage due to port strike, says Iwata
The New 3DS is thin on the ground in the US, apparently due to industrial action.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told shareholders recently that a port strike in the US is preventing a good supply of New 3DS units reaching stores.
The news comes via NintendoEverything's translation of the recent investor Q&A.
The strike has also impacted Amiibo stock, explaining Nintendo's cageyness regarding release dates.
Software has not been affected as it is flown into the US, Iwata added.
