Need for Speed Payback: here's an in-depth look at customization options available in the garage

Need for Speed Payback features a ton of customization options from custom paint jobs to running boards - and more.

There are numerous ways to customize your hotrod in Need for Speed Payback, and today we've been provided with an in-depth look at some of the body kits, decals and other nifty ways to make your vehicle shine.

In this video from Arekkz, we're given a look some of the early available options such as decals, and vanity items.

Vanity items include nitrous and tore smoke colors, underglow, air suspension, and different sounding horns and more. These items come from packages earned through progression. The video also goes over the paint jobs and the ability to create personalized wraps. Looking over the video, you will see there are more decal options that can be counted.

This is accomplished in the player's garage where cars and various automotive parts are stored. Here, players can switch rides, sell their cars, change out parts, use the paint and wrap editor, and fix up derelict cars.

Various vehicles can be purchased from dealerships and each will specialize in a particular type such as Exotics, Classic, Muscle, Rally, Sports and Sports Compact.

Part Shops can be found in multiple locations as an alternative to earning parts through winning events. Here, players can find something specific they're looking for - just known the stock will rotate out.

Performance parts and more visual items such as bonnets, spoilers, and fenders are a few examples of merchandise on offer which can also be equipped on the spot.

Additional garages can be purchased and once all five garages are acquired, players will be granted access to the “unlimited virtual warehouse space,” which allows them to own unlimited vehicles.

Need for Speed Payback will release on November 10 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Those who buy the Need for Speed Payback Deluxe Edition will get access to the game three days early on November 7, a special license plate, discounts, rep bonuses and the five vehicles from the Platinum Car Pack.

And if you want to play the game even earlier you can use EA Access and Origin Access from November 2, and dive into the game for 10 hours via the Play First Trial.
