Need for Speed Icons update introduces neon lights, new cars, and fixes rubber-banding

The next update for Need for Speed is coming this Wednesday with a bunch of tweaks and, more importantly, neon lights.

The update, releasing this week, will fix the rubber-banding issue as well as some other bugs.

Ken Block’s Hoonicorn and Morohoshi’ Lamborghini Diablo SV will also be making their debuts. The Lamborghini is the only car eligible for the new neon lights for now, as they're still in early development.

A Community Events section has been added to the menu, where you can check out ongoing and upcoming events. The first one, titled Performance Matters, will kick off tomorrow, offering a 40% discount on all performance upgrades.

Daily challenges are being introduced along with new trophies and achievements, as well as increased levels of customisation with mirror decals and the Colour Picker 2.0.
