Need for Speed - here's a list of supported wheels and PC requirements
Minimum and Recommended PC requirements for racer Need for Speed have been announced alongside supported driving peripherals.
First up, here's what your tower or laptop needs to run the Origin PC title.
Minimum Requirements for 720p 30fps at low settings:
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
- Processor: Intel Core i3-4130 or equivalent with 4 hardware threads
- Memory: 6GB RAM
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB, AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB, or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 2GB of memory
- Hard Drive: 30 GB free space
Recommended Requirements for 1080p 60fps at high settings:
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4690 or equivalent with 4 hardware threads
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB, AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB, or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 4GB of memory
- Hard Drive: 30 GB free space

As previously announced, Need for Speed on PC will come with the Manual Transmission update as well as all improvements and tweaks made since it released on consoles.
This includes the Icons and Legends updates from day one, and The Showcase update will arrive on PC shortly after launch.
Origin Access members will be able to play the racer on PC free for a limited time starting March 10. All progress will save over into the full game.
Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition through Origin on PC will also receive the BMW M3 E46 as a tricked out starter car, and more.
Need for Speed will release on PC March 17.
