Necrobarista Will Get Free DLC Stories About Its Supporting Cast
With additional gameplay fixes and adjustments on the way.

If you enjoyed Necrobarista over the last weekend, then we've got some good news for you. Yesterday, developer Route 59 Games revealed that the game will be getting several free DLC chapters later this year focusing on its secondary characters, as well as gameplay adjustments.
Announced over on the Steam hub for Necrobarista yesterday on July 27, Necrobarista's free DLC chapters will be arriving at some point later this year. "Necrobarista will be getting a bunch of gameplay and story additions, with the latter focusing on side characters who appeared briefly during Necrobarista's story," the post from Route 59 reads.
The post goes on to acknowledge that although protagonist Maddy's story is undoubtedly finished, there's room for the stories of secondary characters to be properly fleshed out. This includes, but isn't limited to: teenagers Tuan and Hannah, the enigmatic patron Samantha, and even that one guy that appears briefly in the game's opening with the waistcoat and cigar.
But it sounds like the gameplay adjustments will arrive before the character-orientated DLC. Route 59 says the first free update will have a "rework of the [REDACTED] system and the addition of a [REDACTED]!" Whatever these reworks and additions are is anyone's guess.
Necrobarista released last week for PC and smartphones, included in the Apple Arcade subscription service. Caty adored her time with the intriguing visual novel, writing that it was an "engaging visual novel experience from start to finish." I admittedly haven't started the game yet, but I'm absolutely buzzing to after the outpouring of support for Necrobarista over the weekend.
