NCSoft West signs Channon as PR director

NCSoft West has hired UK industry stalwart Cat Channon to head up its European PR team from the company base in Brighton.

Channon previously worked as Vivendi's PR boss and as a journalist for Future. Most recently, she headed up the launch of kids' site Megaton for Eurogamer Network.

"We were looking for a connected, media-savvy professional to drive PR for our upcoming games, pushing Guild Wars 2 and our future announcements; with Cat's experience and contacts across the UK and Europe, we know we have the right match," offered Veronique Lallier, European managing director of NCsoft West.
