NBA Live 19 features the option to create a female player, demo coming
NBA Live 19 will feature the option to create female players for the first time in the series.
NBA Live 19 will allow players to create a female character and take her through the game's The Rise career mode.
Players of the game are able scan their faces to make their created player as accurate as possible. This option used to only be available for men, but now will be officially opened up for women.
Once scanned into the game, players can choose from 30 different head shapes, and hundreds of hairstyle options and colors. Position, height and weight are additional customization options available.
Guards, regardless of gender, will sit in the five-foot-eight to six-foot-five range, according to EA Sports. Wings will average between six-foot-four to six-foot-ten, and bigs from six-foot-eight to seven-foot-two.
NBA Live 19’s featured mode The One, like NBA Live 18, allows players to "buildup to becoming The One." Titled The Rise, players will travel the world receiving "advice, feedback, and tips from a mentor, and WNBA and NBA players."
Players will participate in basketball events from Brazil to Paris and in the states. Here, they will take on the "best to create a legacy to rival basketball’s elite."
The newest NBA Live feature, Build Your Squad, is a recruitment mode. After a players beats a team, street players can be recruited. The NBA Live squad currently consists of Joel Embiid and Allen Iverson to name a few. Another player who can be recruited is Los Angeles Sparks power forward/center, and 2016 MVP, Candace Parker.
On August 24 an NBA Live 19 demo will be made available allowing folks to create their own female player.
The full release of the game is on September 7 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
