NBA 2K21 and Star Wars: Squadrons coming to Xbox Game Pass
It's a sportstastic month as Football Manager and NHL also look to come to the subscription service.
Star Wars: Squadrons and NBA 2K21 are coming to Xbox Game Pass this month.
In fact, 2K's basketball hit is launching on Microsoft's subscription service tomorrow (March 4) for both console and the tech giant's streaming service. EA's Star Wars: Squadrons, meanwhile, is down as coming to console at some point in March.
In a blog post, Microsoft wrote that Madden NFL 21 is already out on Xbox Game Pass via EA Play, while Football Manager 2021 is coming to Game Pass for both Xbox and PC tomorrow. Finally, hockey hit NHL 21 is launching via EA Play next month.
News that Madden NFL 21, Star Wars: Squadrons and NHL 21 were coming to EA Play – and therefore Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – broke at the end of last month. Meanwhile, titles including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night are leaving Game Pass in March.
NBA 2K21 has managed to sell 8 million copies between its September launch and December 2020. That's despite the next-gen version of the game costing $10 more than it did on previous generations.
Star Wars: Squadrons, meanwhile, was released in October of last year. In our review we described as “EA’s smallest scale Star Wars title yet – but also its best”.
