Navigating the river in The Flame in the Flood can be a treacherous endeavor
The Flame in the Flood players will be reliant on the game's procedural river. It's their lifeline. At the same time, it's also a life taker.
Players will hop on their raft and navigate the river to find various destinations, food, shelter and safety. If they aren't careful though, the main thing their survival depends upon can also "rip their raft to shreds."
In the short video above from developer The Molasses Flood, viewers are presented with a guide on rafting. The main takeaway: rocks are not your friends, so be careful. Not only is your life at stake, but your dog's as well. Don't let him down.
The Flame in the Flood is in development from former Irrational Games staffers and was successfully Kickstarted in October 2014.
It will release on February 24 for Mac, PC and Xbox One. It is currently available through Steam Early Access for $19.99.
