Namco Bandai's Singapore studio hires ex-LucasArts devs, working on new arcade IP
Namco Bandai has launched a new Singapore studio that is currently working on a new IP for arcades. The team includes developers from the now-defunct LucasArts Singapore.
Siliconera reports that the new IP is intended for worldwide distribution, although it's unclear if the game is purely for arcades or if it will eventually hit consoles as well.
The studio has hired ten developers from LucasArts Singapore after the Star Wars studio was shuttered in March of this year.
We'll have more on this new IP as it happens.
