The game popped up on Amazon last month for PlayStation 4 before Nordic Games had the chance to announce it was reviving the former-THQ property for current-gen. It still hasn't by the way, to our knowledge.

According to information sent over today, the initial Early Access build will include both single and multiplayer modes, four tracks with more added monthly, four bikes and two ATVs with upgrade parts for each and over 60 official riders.

More gameplay features and tracks will be added as development progresses, and the full version will contain career mode with unlockable game modes, vehicles and parts. The full version will also include more than 30 tracks.

"Early Access is a great and unique way for you to get your hands on an early version of our game and help us make it even better," said the game's executive producer Ken George, adding the Rainbow Studios-developed title is targeted for a full release this summer.

"We are going to scale the price with the amount of content available," he continued. "As more content is added, we will add to the cost incrementally. We hope that players will feel they paid the appropriate price at any given stage of the development."

Rainbow Studios insists the game is more than a port of the console release, as MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore also contains tracks from MX vs. ATV Alive, upgraded visuals, and more with further enhancements added based on community feedback.

You can gain early access to the PC title for $19.99.
