Muse Games launches Kickstarter for Guns of Icarus Adventure Mode
Muse Games is at the Kickstarter thing again, this time to push for a new mode for Guns of Icarus Online called Adventure Mode. They're going for $100,000 this time, and a $20 donation gets you a copy of the game when it's released.
So what is Adventure Mode? Well, it's PvE. Adventure Mode will turn Guns of Icarus into a living, breathing player-controlled world in which you can do quests and stuff. Basically, it makes the game into a true MMO. Here are the bullets detailing what this update will give us:
-A persistent online post-apocalyptic steam & dieselpunk world
-Crew or captain your own ship and experience airship combat taken to new levels
-Explore towns and take on missions to help them develop and grow...or bring them to ruin
-Politics and intrigue with six player-run factions, each vying to stake its claim in the world
-Robust and accessible economic and political systems that drive the action
