MS has "nothing to announce at this time" regarding Halo 1 remake

Microsoft has responded to yesterday's report which claimed 343 Industries is working on a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved.
According to a MS spokesperson speaking with Eurogamer: "Right now our focus is on supporting Halo: Reach. We have nothing to announce at this time."
Yesterday, the magazine Games Master claimed "industry chatter" suggested a remake's in the works, and the game would launch around Halo's 10-year anniversary in 2011, before a speculative Halo 4 launches in 2012.
Something Halo related is in the works though, as 343 has been hiring staffers to “help breathe a fresh vision into a new Halo experience”.
