MotorStorm Apocalypse officially announced, has screens

Evolution Studios has formally announced MotorStorm Apocalypse over on the US and EU PS Blogs.
In a post written by game director Matthew Southern, you get all the juicy details on the sixteen player online multiplayer, four player split-screen co-op, vehicle customization and perks, rankings, online rewards, persistent matchmaking, and even the Game Mode Creator.
That's a load of stuff right there.
VG247 sent freelancer Adam Hartley to interview Southern and have a look at MSA last week, which was described to him as a game that's "just f**king lunacy".

It's out in 2011 for PS3 only, obviously.
