Last-gen Mortal Kombat X delayed, now releasing this fall - report
It appears the last-gen version of Mortal Kombat X has been delayed once again, per GameStop employees familiar with the matter.
Speaking with Kotaku, the employees stated customers were notified on May 22 that PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 skus had been delayed into fall.
Instead of a June 2 release, GameStop now has a placeholder date of December 31 listed. Warner has yet to respond to requests for comment.
Warner announced in March last-gen versions of Mortal Kombat X had been pushed into summer, but the current-gen and PC versions would arrive on April 14 as planned.
Since release, the fighting game has become the fastest-selling entry in the franchise to-date and the Xbox One version topped the NPD charts in the US during April.
