Mortal Kombat X DLC to feature new playable characters, skins, environment

Warner and Netherrealm Studios have confirmed new downloadable content is in the works for Mortal Kombat X.
The DLC includes new playable characters, skins and a new environment. All will be made available during the first half of 2016.
Unfortunately, neither the developer nor the publisher provided further details.
It's possible Ed Boon could tweet the characters, as he tends to do, so keep an eye on his Twitter page.
Mortal Kombat X is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were recently cancelled after previous delays.
