Mortal Kombat Legacy season 2's new characters revealed, will be more brutal
Mortal Kombat: Legacy was the focus of a panel session at Comic-Con yesterday, and during the session a number of new characters have been billed to feature in new episodes, along with an emphasis on fatalities and brutal fighting.
IGN reports that new characters confirmed for season two are Ermac, Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Kenshi, and it was confirmed that actor Jeri Ryan will not return as Sonya Blade due to her busy schedule. The creators are hopeful to get Ryan back for season 3 however.

Anyway, the second season will premier on Machinima in the fall and fans at Comic-Con got a sneak-peek at a new battle from the series. There are SPOILERS below.
IGN reports that the clip showed the characters convening for a tournament, which saw Johnny Cage fighting Mileena. Cage gets pinned to a tree before Mileena's sister Katana enters the fight and the tussle goes on for ages. In the end Katana chops her sister's head off. Ouch.
