More PS3 "Trophies" talk emerges

Update: This PSU report says the Trophies mentioned here are 2D XMB things, not the 3D Home Trophies we've seen in shots. The site claims they're going to launch in June with Firmware 2.4.
This Kotaku piece brings more evidence that Sony is to add a "Trophy" system to PSN, thought to be similar in set-up to Xbox Live's Achievements.
A fact sheet from the PixelJunk Eden website clearly shows that the game will feature "Trophy Support", although there's no clarification on what this actually is.
The truth will out. It always does.
