Moore: PSN outage "unfortunate," but no damage done to EA Sports

EA Sports president Peter Moore has said that the outage of PlayStation Network in April and the early part of last month was "unfortunate," but no harm was done to the company.

Instead, Moore said that it was just a case of "delayed purchases."

"I felt bad for Sony; we tried to help Sony. We really tried to focus on ‘There but for the grace of God go many of us'," he told Kotaku at E3.

"I think it's just delayed purchases. You're still going to buy TPC Boston eventually," he added, mentioning a golf course that'll be available as DLC for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.

"I think we all learned some hard lessons."

Moore added that multiplayer figures are back to healthy levels with his label's games.

PSN went down in mid-April due to an external intrusion.
