Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is coming to the West in 2015

Capcom always teases western fans with long waits between the Japanese and western releases of their games, but they always get here eventually.

Western Monster Hunter fans, your wait isn't quite over, but at least there's a time frame to it now. Capcom just announced Monster Hunter 4G for 3DS in Japan, and added that it will be released in Europe, UK, US and Australia in early 2015, under the title Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

In an announcement video, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto promised "the biggest leap forward ever for the series."

"Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will take the player to new heights, literally, with the introduction of more vertical and lateral movement than ever," he said. "This opens up new possibilities by expanding the range of actions to create more fluid and dynamic hunting experiences."
