Monokuma is back in Danganronpa 3, but everything else is new

Danganronpa abandons the characters and storylines of past games in favour of all new murder shenanigans.
Some new details of the third main Danganronpa game have surfaced via early reports from this week's Famitsu.
Gematsu reports the threequel is called New Danganronpa V3, with the "new" referring to a blank slate starting point: the characters and story so far won't be continued.
Series mascot Monokuma will return, though, and the basic gameplay set up will be unchanged.
The PS4 and Vita title is due in Japan next year and will probably come west, since the first couple and Ultra Despair Girls spin-off did very nicely for NIS America. Expect more details when the full Famitsu issue leaks, or after this week's Danganronpa press event.
