MLG Providence National Championships – all winners

Over $60,000 in prizes were awarded at the final stop on the 2011 Major League Gaming Pro Circuit - the National Championships.

The Championships closed off the eighth MLG Pro Circuit, which offered its largest prize pool yet, handing out more than $1 million over the course of the season.

The largest prize pool of the weekend was the Halo: Reach tournament, which granted $100,000 to Roy, Lunchbox, Pistola and Ogre 2 of Team Instinct. This stellar line up has seen Instinct take the MLG Pro Circuit Championships five times in a row now, much to the despair of runners up Team Warriors and third place Believe the Hype.

16 year old Korean Lee Dong Nyung, better known as FXOLeenock, took first place in the StarCraft II leage form a field of hundreds. The Code S teen scored $50,000 for his efforts, ahead of Sweden's Naniwa and in third place, fellow Korean DongRaeGu.

In the Call of Duty: Black Ops tourney, which was played out on PS3, Team Quantic Next Threat secured a win and $50,000 for its members Vengeance, Mutation, Virus and Censor. Rivals Team Eon Envy and Optic Gaming had to be content with second and third respectively.

A comparatively modest $15,000 was up for grabs in the League of Legends event, with Team SoloMid members ReginaId, TheOddOne, TheRainMan, Xpecial, and Chaox nabbing it.
