Minecraft Xbox One in stores next month

Minecraft has a release date for Xbox One players unable or unwilling to download the digital version.

Minecraft's physical Xbox One release date is November 18 in North America, Microsoft has announced.

The sandbox will go for $20, which may cause you to reconsider your stance on the digital release; if you already own Minecraft on Xbox 360 in any form, you can upgrade to the digital Xbox One version for $5.

The Xbox One (and PS4!) version of Minecraft supports worlds up to 36 times larger than that seen in the last generation versions, and you can import your saves within console families.

Just as a reminder: Microsoft bought Minecraft developer Mojang recently.
