Minecraft to get iOS edition this year

Majong's Markus Persson's confirmed to Gama that Minecraft will get a release on iPhone and iPad later this year.

The ports are being done by a new addition to the team at Majong, Aron Neiminen. Persson says that iOS version won't get every new update the browser or download version will have, but instead get features that "make sense."

This is the first time there's been an iOS version, although there have been unofficial versions.
