Minecraft sales reach 12 million

The primary version of Minecraft has now sold over 12 million copies according to the official site's counter, as noticed by Kotaku today.
Sales of the Xbox Live and mobile version are not reported live, but at last report had totted up 8 million and 10 million respectively, bringing its total franchise sales to 20 million at least.
PlayStation 3, PS4 and Vita versions were announced recently, too.
