Microsoft E3 2015: Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza 6 - watch here

Microsoft is hosting its E3 2015 press conference today, and you can watch every announcement right here alongside of us for the full 90 minutes.

It all kicks off at 9.30am PDT/12.30pm EDT/5.30pm UK, and we expect all sorts of announcements, trailer reveals, game demos, and other presentations pertaining to Xbox One and its PC integration with Windows 10. After all, as Xbox boss Phil Spencer himself has said, Microsoft has ignored PC gaming for far too long.

To that end, we expect to hear more about DirectX 12, Fable Legends' cross-play functionality, and possibly more on HoloLens – which Kudo Tsunoda alluded to during a recent video chat with Major Nelson.

Oculus VR also promised it would provide more information at E3 regarding stream capabilities between the Rift headset, Windows 10 and Xbox One.

System updates, upcoming additions to the dashboard and programs, and other content partnerships are a given for Xbox One at least, and possibly Xbox 360.

On the games front, we expect Halo 5: Guardians will be one of the bigger ticket items for the conference, along with the company's other Xbox One exclusive chock full of guns - the next Gears of War from the studio formerly known as Black Tusk, The Coalition. Who knows: maybe even rumors will prove true for a Gears of War Remastered collection - despite denials. Keep your fingers crossed, Gears fans.

The latest entry in Turn 10's racing franchise Forza Motorsport 6 is sure to be front-and-center, especially since it leaked just over a week ago. The Japanese website noted the game would display in 1080p and run at 60fps, so it's possible the game could be used to show how DirectX 12 looks on Xbox One.

There's also the new game in the works at Rare, which Microsoft has been rather quiet about – barring a few teases from Phil Spencer. Battletoads? Maybe. Spencer has the t-shirt after all.

Existing first-party titles such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection may pop up on stage if there is something worth discussing. Microsoft may also touch upon the next season of Killer Instinct if it's far enough along in development. Maybe even something pertaining to Minecraft will be announced. Microsoft did pay billions for it, after all.

The firm also has a new IP in the works at one of its studios - one that isn't another military space marine game - which will be good news to some.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will probably be the biggest third-party title to be shown – if the “First on Xbox” DLC partnership has been extended another year. And let's not forget about Rise of the Tomb Raider either, especially since Microsoft made such a production over the timed-exclusive deal it penned with Square Enix at its gamescom 2014 presentation.

Platinum Games’ Transformers: Devastation, which as far as we know is at least coming to Xbox consoles, might make an appearance at Microsoft’s presentation as well as Sony's later in the day. We will just have to wait and see.

Finally, you have Frontier Developments with Elite: Dangerous on the Xbox One horizon, so we don't doubt for a minute we’ll at least get to see a special trailer or some gameplay.

Surely there's a lot more planned for today's conference than what we've surmised above, but those are just the obvious guesses off the tops of our heads.

Watch the stream above along with us, and be sure to check out the front page of the site for news straight from Microsoft as it happens. You can also watch it via the Microsoft website, through the main Twitch Channel and through YouTube. We will switch to one of these mirrors if the stream above becomes unstable.

As with every year, we'll live blog the show with every bit of news we can muster out of it, so be on the lookout for the full report after the show ends.

Enjoy E3 2015.
