Microsoft drops Xbox support for Japan

As of March 3, Microsoft Japan will stop servicing original Xboxes, including machines that are under warranty, according to this post on the Japanese Xbox site.
If you've got a broken Xbox that's still under warranty, however, Microsoft will upgrade you to a 360 for free.
