Metal Gear Solid 5 has shipped 6 million units

Metal Gear Solid 5 sold rather well to retailers, according to Konami's latest financial figures.
According to the firm's report, for the nine months ending on December 31, 2015, Metal Gear Solid 5 shipped 6 million units worldwide. The figure includes both physical and digital formats.
The firm noted the 6 million as sell-in, which in financials terms denotes units sold to retailers.
Konami also said sales of PES 2016 were meaningful as were sales of its popular mobile title Jikkyou Pawafuru Puroyakyu.
Sales for the company's digital division were up 37.5% from ¥67.9 billion to ¥93.4 billion year-over-year. Profits for the division were also up year-over-year from ¥10.7 billion to ¥25.5 billion.
