Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries gets September release date - watch new gameplay here
At Mechcon 2018, Piranha Games unveiled a new trailer for Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries and set an official release date for the mech action game.
Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries was initially revealed in late 2016 for release in 2018. The game was later delayed to 2019, but we now have a more solid release date to look forward to.
Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries will be available September 10, 2019, a date developer Piranha Games announced alongside a new trailer. The game was also playable at Mechcon 2018, with the co-op portion being given special attention during a developer livestream from the show.
On top of the ability to command iconic Mechs from the the Mechwarrior and Battletech universe, Mercenaries also has a management layer where you'll be able to lead a group of mercenaries. Like in Battletech (the game), you'll be taking care of finances, dealing with contracts, hiring pilots, and generally working to stay in the black.
Catch the new trailer below. We've also embedded the co-op demo portion of the stream for your viewing pleasure.
