Prototype footage has surfaced for Mass Effect: Team Assault, which was being considered by BioWare as a FPS, standalone multiplayer experience set in the Mass Effect universe. In the end, the firm added a multiplayer portion to Mass Effect 3 instead. Watch below, courtesy of AGB.
