Mass Effect gets fourth novel in Deception
Book publisher Del Rey has announced plans to publish Mass Effect: Deception, the fourth prose novel based on BioWare's sci-fi RPG series.
Written by William C Dietz, a veteran of game-to-novel adaptations (his last book was StarCraft II Heaven's Devils), the storyline follows the character of Gillian Grayson, who was first introduced in the second Mass Effect novel, Ascension.
In Deception, Gillian has started to master powers that were forced on her via scientific experiments. Of course, she's not the only one with special abilities, and now has to choose to live with humans or shack up with a super-powered group that believes it's superior to humans.
It's out this fall. Thanks Joystiq.
