Mass Effect: Andromeda - watch gameplay from three distinct planets, and how the Nomad handles their terrain
Voeld, Kadara, and Eos are three of the planets you will visit in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Mass Effect: Andromeda has a new video available that gives us a quick look at three of the game's planets. The video above, via IGN, shows the general environment for each one, and the type of encounters we'll come across on the surface.
First, we get to see Voeld, an ice planet completely filled with snow. The cold weather is hazardous, and you can see the effect on both the Nomad and Ryder himself on the lower left corner.
Kadara is shown next, with its mostly lush green environments. This is also when we see the planet map, and some of the points of interest on it. Then there's Eos, the desert planet that where this mechanical creature lurks.
There's a decent bit of footage of driving around in the Nomad, too, which we haven't seen too much of. Interestingly, these planets are referred to by name here, as opposed to "Habitat", which is what Andromeda calls Golden Worlds. These are either not the same planets, or they're the names that'll be given to them in the story once we visit them.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released starting March 21 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
