Marvel's Avengers outfits inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be sold through the marketplace
Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired outfits are coming to Marvel's Avengers, and they will be sold through the in-game marketplace.
News of the Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired outfits in Marvel's Avengers was brought to light by Crystal Dynamics in a tweet last Friday, exciting some fans who thought the outfits would be free event rewards.
"We'll be introducing the Red Room Takeover event this spring," read the tweet. "Features rewards like animated nameplates, outfits inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a deadly HARM Room hacked by Yelena Belova, and more secrets to decrypt."
However, the developer has now clarified the duds will instead have to be unlocked via the marketplace as some players thought the outfits would be rewards.
"To clarify, the outfits inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be available exclusively in the Marketplace for purchase with credits," reads the follow-up tweet.
As far as what else to expect coming to the game, this spring, you have the Tachyon Anomaly to look forward to. During this event, Tachyon Rift Missions will appear more often and will be scaled for Power Levels 1-100. There’s also Red Room Takeover which comes with unique HARM Room content.
Monica will star in her own Villain Sector as the Scientist Supreme this summer, and there's also Wasteland Patrol which is a new Patrol Mode mission.
Then there's the Black Panther: War for Wakanda expansion which arrives later this year.
Earlier this month, Operation: Hawkeye Future Imperfect added a new playable hero, a new villain, and story content along with two new features: Reassemble Campaign Replay and an entirely new customizable HARM Room.
