We'll get to see the Marvel's Avengers E3 demo one week after gamescom [Update: demo leaks]
Marvel's Avengers developer Crystal Dynamics confirmed that everyone will soon get a good look at the previously behind-closed-doors-only demo.
Update: The demo shown to attendees at Hall H has leaked online. Filming was not allowed during the panel, so you'll have to forgive the angle of the shot and the video/audio quality.
Also, this is up on YouTube, so it'll probably be pulled in the next few minutes. Watch it while you can below:
The original story is available below.
Original story: During the Marvel Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con this week, Avengers creative director Shaun Escayg and team showed off the E3 behind-closed-doors demo to attendees at Hall H.
The panel wasn't livestreamed, but the good news is that everyone will get to watch the full demo soon. Escayg confirmed that the team is currently polishing it so it can release the footage one week after gamescom.
This will be an updated version of the A-Day demo that received a so-so reception at E3, and it depicts a major event at the beginning of the game.
During the panel, the audience was shown what we can only assume is a teaser for Ms. Marvel. The demo was narrated by a girl, whom we are led to believe is Kamala Khan. Later, a young girl wearing a Captain Marvel tshirt gets exposed to Terrigen Mist.
It's not yet clear if Khan's Ms. Marvel will be a playable character - though some of the leaks suggest she would be. Indeed, the panel did not address her identity or relation to the main confirmed heroes one way or another, according to those in attendance.
Publisher Square Enix also confirmed a partnership with PlayStation that brings PS4 players some exclusive goodies, including early access to the game's beta. More details will be shared soon, the company promised.
