Mario Kart Tour will release alongside its first tour location and limited-time drivers

Mario Kart Tour releases tomorrow, and Android and iOS players will be taken to New York City on the first tour.

Mario Kart Tour is the series’ first release on mobile devices, and every two weeks, players will race in different locations.

The first tour will take place in NYC and feature racers Musician Mario and Pauline. Once the tour is over, the racers will no longer be available. According to Siliconera, Musician Mario can toss two Bo-ombs at once. Pauline's special power move is Lucky Seven, which provides her with seven power-ups.

During each tour, you will earn Grand Stars which can be spent on Cups. Cups will unlock Tour Gifts which open up new gliders, karts and characters in the game. Each tour will feature an earnable driver, such as the NYC tour's Yoshi. Cups can also unlock new races.

Mario Kart Tour's New York City event will kick off on launch day, September 25. It runs through October 9.
