Magic the Gathering 2014 features sealed play mode
Magic 2014 - Duels of the Planeswalkers comes with sealed play mode, allowing players to craft their own deck from random booster packs and use it to fight against their opponent. It's the first time sealed play has appeared in the series.
Destructoid reports that sealed play starts with each player being given six booster packs containing 14 cards each. Before a match, each player must craft a 40-card deck from their options and use that to fight.
If players win often in campaign mode they will eventually earn another three booster decks to choose from in sealed play mode. There's also an option to buy additional sealed pools at $1.99 apiece, but each player is capped at 20 pools.
Stainless Games' brand manager Adam Dickson suggested that anyone willing to pay for over 20 sealed pools is probably prepared to make the switch to the physical card game. This is probably to stop people spending a ludicrous amount of cash as well.
