Lost Soul Aside is one man's Final Fantasy inspired project and it looks amazing
Incredibly, one guy made this all on his own.
Lost Soul Aside is the creation of Yang Bing, who saw the Final Fantasy 15 trailer two years ago and thought, "I'll give that a whirl."
Bing has persevered as a one-man team and the results are massively impressive.
He's currently being inundated with messages and questions about whether or not he'll set up a Kickstarter, and he's taken to social media to post an update.
"I has [sic] been working on it in full time for two years and feed myself by doing freelance things, and actually my plan was to release the trailer as the end of fulltime development and find a full time job then continue it in part time with a really slow speed, maybe ten years or more," he wrote on Facebook yesterday.
"My plan should disappoint you but by that way i can be less stressful, It's kind of selfish but just as Kazer said in the end scene, it's just for saving myself. I really haven't expected there are so many people like it which makes me hesitate to do as I planned. Actually a bit stressful right now. This may disappoint you but I can't tell a lie that the game will come out in another 2 years.
"Maybe there will be some opportunity in the future allowing me to finish it within a team or in full time. But right now I'm tired and want a rest. Sorry for disappoint you guys, and thank you again for encouragement. There will be updates though."
In a post made earlier today, he thanks everyone again for their interest and states that he isn't turning to Kickstarter yet, as it "means too much responsibility for me now and I'm afraid I can't bear that at the time."
Regardless of his plans, what he's achieved so far is amazing and we wish him all the best.
