Lords of the Fallen: Chamber of Lies side quest for Yetka
This part of the game has an effect on the final ending. Follow our guide to find out why.
Once you’ve defeated the Guardian, lift the barrier to access the corridor across the arena using your Gauntlet. On the left-hand side of the corridor is a chest containing Faith head and chest armour. Follow the corridor, go through the door at the end and turn right to discover a chest holding a Fiery Withholder Kite Shield and Last Will Greatsword.
There’s a Tyrant on the left in this area, but you really don’t want to mess with him right now as his heart isn’t in the vicinity, so leave him for later. With that in mind, confront the Spellcaster over to the right without drawing the Tyrant into the fray, then make your way down the corridor ahead.
After dealing with a couple of Golems, you’ll enter a room containing 2 Spellcasters that will emerge from the right side (from the stairs and the corridor) and an audio note over to the left. Clear the area, grab the audio note and exit via the corridor to the right where the Spellcaster entered. Head into the next corridor on the right, up the stairs and left to the next room, taking care not to get ambushed by the giant spider dangling from the ceiling.
Enter the room and exterminate the giant spider in here as well, up to the left, and the smaller spiders on the floor underneath. The door on the right is locked and you’ll need a Right Wing Key to unlock it, so for now go to the left side of the room, then enter the hallway at the end, to the right. Ahead of you is a door that will create a shortcut back to the waiting Tyrant, but as we still don’t have his heart yet, just open the door for now without going through.
Use 2 Small Sealed Runes to open the door on the right where you’ll find a chest containing a Weapon Hilt and a Spine Slasher Sword, then return to the room you where you killed the spiders and enter the room on the right. There are more spiders scurrying around in here and a giant spider over to the left, as well as a crafting forge. Do what you need to do here, then carry on through the next room and up the steps into the hallway.
Follow the corridor to the end, kill the Spellcaster and take the audio note from right. Proceed through the door over in the left corner to find the Right Wing Key and a Forger. You can use the key to open the door you passed earlier, inside which is a chest containing an Eternal Legend chest piece and Crusher Greatsword.
Cross over to the next corridor, killing the Forger here, and continue to the room at the end where you’ll find an Apparition and a Tyrant. Walking through the corridor, you will have passed a ledge over to the left that you can jump over to, so take note of the location. The Tyrant’s heart is over to the right of the room with the Apparition, so take it out first, grab the heart, then kill the Tyrant. Explore the right side of the room to find the Tor Greathammer, then pull the lever in this area to trigger a cutscene involving Yetka.
Once this has wrapped up, take out the Apparition that has appeared. You’ll also notice that pulling the lever has connected both sides of the room. Soon you’ll be going down the corridor that Yetka just went through, but for now double back to the hallway with the ledge to the left and jump over. Make your way to the right and through the door down here where a Tyrant awaits you on the left and his heart on the right. Dispose of him, head into the next corridor and take out the Temple Guardian. The end of the corridor leads to a shortcut that will return you to the large room from earlier, but we want pop down the stairs that lead off from the hallway.
Defeat the Temple Guardian here and continue to the end of the hall. Kill the Spellcaster and Apparition, head down the corridor on the left and crack open the chest containing a Fallen chest piece. Open the door opposite with a Small Sealed Rune, deal with the Forger and Hell Hound in here, then open the next chest to obtain an Eternal Legend head piece. Cross over to the stairs on the other side and defeat the Demonic Guardian at the bottom before saving at the checkpoint.
There’s a vase next to the door here that contains the heart of the Tyrant from earlier, so collect it, go through the door, down the stairs and face the Tyrant. Yetka is hanging around closeby to where you entered, so talk to her to receive The Stone of Divine Understanding that gives you the ability to read ancient writings, and some audio notes (the number depends on how many wall writings you’ve tried to read up to this point).
Make your way back to the large room where you used the lever and go down the corridor you saw Yetka head through. There’s a barrier to the right that you can lift, and the path leads to the area where you battled the Infiltrator, so you don’t need to go down there at the moment. Go to the left, through the door at the end of the corridor and follow the ledge to the right of the stairs here. You can jump across to the ledge opposite to pick up an Empty Bottle.
Head down the stairs and back to the large room. Lift the barrier to the left, proceed down this route, taking care of the fiery Dimensional Beast along the way, and continue down the stairs. You’ll be ambushed by a Fire Golem, followed by an Apparition. Head to the bottom and use the lever on the right to trigger a cutscene with Yetka again. You’ll need to make a decision regarding the fate of the beast in the centre of the room, and you should note that this will affect the ending you’ll get after the final boss battle.
Make your way to the other side of the large room and save at the checkpoint. Go up the stairs to the middle of the second floor and up the staircase that you’ll now see. When you enter the room up here, you’ll be flanked by a couple of Fire Golems, so take them out, collect the audio note ahead, then proceed into the room for the next boss fight.
