Looks like Tekken Team's VR "communication game" is coming west
Summer Lesson may well be releasing in the west at some point.
As spotted by Gematsu, Bandai Namco has trademarked Summer Lesson in Europe, suggesting it may plan to bring the VR experience west.
The project comes from Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada, and is on the way to PlayStation VR, the PS4's virtual reality headset. The tech has not been dated, although its expected this year, and we should hopefully get some more details now that Oculus Rift has been dated and priced.
When first announced towards the end of 2014, the "communication game" had players interacting with a schoolgirl, and raised a few eyebrows with some slightly creepy overtones. New tech demo footage shown at E3 2015 showed the core concepts still in place, but reworked in a potentially more comfortable context.
