Looks like an announcement for PlayStation Now on PC is imminent [UPDATE]
More evidence of PlayStation Now coming to PC has surfaced. - UPDATE - it has been announced. Please check the announcement post.
Twitter user Wario64, who tends to find all sorts of interesting information, tweeted the source code for an image posted on the EU PS Blog.
The post in question, "How PlayStation VR Worlds was brought to life with extraordinary art" has "PS Now on PC Announce Post by PlayStation Europe, on Flickr" noted when looking over the code for the DangerBall screen - as you can see in the image above.
Sony seems to have renamed the image on Flickr to "PlayStation VR Worlds art _ PlayStation Europe _ Flickr.html."
Earlier this month, sources close to French gaming site Gamekult told the site Sony's PlayStation Now subscription service would be announced for PC on August 23. The site’s source claim the service will debut on PC in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK first. It would then arrive in the US and Canada the following week.
Specs from the source indicated Windows 7 and above would be supported on PC with an internet speed of 5MBps recommended.
August 23 is today. So, it seems Sony may have pushed the announcement back a little and the EU PS Blog didn't cover all it's tracks. Or it's all a ruse by fiendish tricksters on the PS Blog. The rumor tag is ticked on this post, just like last time. Because you never know.
We'll keep you up-to-date on this as more information comes to light - or when/if an announcement is finally made.
