Former Lionhead boss now "overseeing internal development" for HoloLens, Xbox "experiences"
Lionhead Studios boss John Needham, who took the leadership position at the developer after Peter Molyneux left, will now be "overseeing internal development" for various "games and experiences" for both Xbox and Microsoft HoloLens, Microsoft has said.
The news was confirmed to Engadget by a Microsoft spokesperson, who also stated Needham would report directly to former Kinect boss Kudo Tsunoda at Microsoft's Redmon offices.
"With the exception of Halo, Gears of War, Forza and Minecraft," Tsunoda will be in charge of development of Microsoft Studios portfolio investments," the spokesperson continued.
It was announced last week Xbox Europe boss Phil Harrison was leaving the company to run his own technology firm Alloy Platform Industries.
Microsoft has not announced who will fill either vacant position.
