Mobile version of League of Legends: Wild Rift heads to North America in March
Those who reside in North America will be able to try out the mobile version of League of Legends: Wild Rift in March.
According to Riot, an open beta for the mobile version of League of Legends: Wild Rift will be made available in March.
While currently playable in other parts of the world, this will be the first time it will be made available in North America.
Wild Rift is also coming to consoles, but whether or not it too will be made available in March wasn't stated. But you can at least expect to grab the beta off the App Store and Google Play. News of the open beta was announced during the League of Legends opening day stream, which you can watch above.
Riot said players of the game can expect regular events, ARAM mode, two new characters per month, and ranked seasons.
Announced in October 2020, the game is not a port of League of Legends on PC, but a new game built from scratch to ensure "it is a polished, legitimate LoL experience."
Matches in Wild Rift are also designed to be shorter than a standard desktop game in LoL, and will last around 15 to 18 minutes.
